The Web interface is the site itself
Adding content to, or administrating a Glasnost site is not carried out in a separate Web interface (back office), but in the site itself.
In other words, an identified (logged in) user and an anonymous user see exactly the same pages, but the identified user sees a few additional elements :
- Elements related to the current object :
- Attributes of the object which were hidden before,
- Buttons or any other html form widget,
- Navigation links.
For example, when he has not logged in, the author of an article can only see its title and content. Once he has logged in, he can also see its creation date, last editor, etc ; and an "edit" button at the bottom of the article.
There is a simple rule : These additional elements are displayed for people who have the permission to (see and) use them.
