Hardware Requirements
Glasnost can easily run on a fairly recent personal computer.
RAM is critical for performance, as Glasnost uses Object Prevalence [1].
A minimum of 256M of RAM is recommended for a server. More for a machine which is also used as a desktop. Of course, this depends on the features installed (the number of servers started) and on the amount of stored data [2].

[2] For example, Glasnost with content management, translations and electronic vote running is fairly usable on a laptop with 192M of RAM (With a light window manager. It become quite unusable with a desktop environment such as Gnome or KDE).
