Once a user has logged in, he is identified by Glasnost as one of its people objects. That's why a user must edit his own person object when he wants to modify his personal information (last name, first name, nickname and email adress).  [1]

Groups are another type of Glasnost objects. A group is simply a set of other objects called members of the group. They usually contain people, or other groups of people, but they can actually contain any type of Glasnost object.
